Where does Yunnan Sourcing ship from?
We have two locations: our main warehouse in Kunming, China (Yunnan Sourcing) and our US-based warehouse in Texas (Yunnan Sourcing US). Orders from our China site ship worldwide directly from the source.
How do I ensure the tea I buy is authentic?
We work directly with farmers and reputable tea factories in Yunnan. Each batch is curated by our founder, Scott Wilson, and we provide detailed information regarding the harvest year, material origin, and processing style for every product.
What are your shipping rates and delivery times?
Shipping costs are calculated by weight at checkout. International orders from China can take anywhere from 7 to 30 business days depending on the shipping method selected, such as e-Packet, EMS, or DHL.
Do you test your teas for pesticides?
Yes, we regularly perform independent laboratory testing for pesticide residues on our private label Pu-erh and various other teas to ensure they meet international safety standards.
What is your return policy for food products?
Due to the nature of tea as a food product, we cannot accept returns on opened tea. However, if you receive a damaged item or the wrong product, please contact us within 14 days of receipt for a replacement or refund.
How should I store my Pu-erh tea?
Pu-erh should be stored in a cool, dry place away from strong odors. Raw (Sheng) Pu-erh benefits from some airflow and moderate humidity, while Ripe (Shu) Pu-erh is more resilient but should still be kept in a stable environment.
