Golden Peacock is a tippy blend of Spring 2007 tea leaves that was stored in Kunming since 2007. The blend is similar to a Da Yi (Menghai Tea Factory) 7542, but priced more affordably.
Very clean dry storage in Kunming has smoothed the rough edges while preserving this tea's pungent aroma and powerful thick taste and mouth feel. Thick, oily, bitter, sweet and floral this is a great Menghai blend that performs very well for it's age and price. Highly recommend picking up this cake to drink or age further!
