2015 Menghai "Elephant Mountain" Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake
Elephant Mountain is a small Dai minority village community in Menghai County with a Dai Temple of some renown. Ā It's also a tea growing area and as such has always commanded the imagination of people in the area. Ā Being a blend of many different ripe wet pile batches there may or may not be some tea from Elephant Mountain in there somewhere! Ā Another "once in a blue moon" premium production from Da Yi, which was last produced exactly 10 years ago in 2005. Ā The 2005 production and this one are the same recipe, the 2005 production is a modern ripe classic, sought after, and commanding a very high price.
