Lincang Raw Pu-erh Tea Sampler * Spring 2017 Harvest * Part 3 of 3

Take a flight around the Famous Tea Region of Lincang prefecture in the southwest of Yunnan province. Most of our Lincang Raw Pu-erh Teas are from Fengqing, Linxiang, Shuanjiang Mengku, and Yongde counties. Taste a curated selection of samples from our Yunnan Sourcing Brand Lincang Tea Cakes and develop an appreciation for the distinct aroma, flavor and mouthfeel of these amazing teas.

Pu-erh tea is made from Yunnan large-leaf varietal of Camellia Sinensis. It is typically processed into compressed cakes, bricks and tuos. Pu-erh is particularly special because it can be aged for decades or longer, always changing and (in most cases) developing more depth and texture. Raw Pu-erh (生茶) is the traditional form of Pu-erh, and is sun-dried and compressed.

Lincang Prefecture is one of the largest pu-erh producing tea regions. Bordered by Burma to the north and Pu’er Prefecture to the south, Lincang is home to a few of the most famed areas of tea production. Bingdao and Xigui are two of the most famous.

Here's the 3 teas that you'll get in this sampler!
