"Ye Lai Xiang" literally means Night Blooming Jasmine Aroma (Cestrum nocturnum) å¤ę„é¦č±. Ā It's a aromatic Dan Cong which has been grown for centuries in and around Shi Tou Jiao (at the foot of the rocks) Village. Ā The original "Mother Tree" is 300 years old and grows just outside theĀ Shi Tou JiaoĀ village (a higher elevation village).
This is a lovely middle mountain (äøå±±) elevation Mi Lan Xiang (čå °é¦) from Da An village, grown at an altitude of roughly 900 meters from decades old tea bushes.
Ye Lai Xiang Dan Cong Oolong tea is considered a rare tea because it is not widely cultivated. Ā Processing style is green with short roasting times to coax out the Night Blooming Jasmine aroma that it carries. Ā
Leaf size is largish, processing style is light wither and low temp short roasts. Ā Tea soup is yellow-gold, thick bodied, and highly infusable.
