Another dry-aged ripe beauty from Menghai! A humble looking bamboo leaf wrapped brick with no nei fei belies its complex inner character.
Some mild chocolatey bitterness that is countered with much fruity sweetness and a light hardwood oiliness. It has a thick full-bodied tea soup and long-lasting huigan (uniquely excellent). This is a tea that benefits from long steeps and won't get funky. Alternatively you can considerĀ brewing this tea in one of the SAMA flasks (either theĀ MC09Ā or theĀ MC05), using 6 or 7 grams and doing aĀ 30-60 minute steep. BZZZZ!!!
